An Awesome Day at the Beach!

On January 16, 2014, our class totally rocked it and went to the beach. WHOO HOO! Finally we got to go to the beach (after canceling the trip once)! We had reached our word count goals in Nanowrimo and luckily, our other friend, Abrielle Lindsay got to join us because she reached her goal too-of 46,000 words!
There, the girls did a game show thing with who could be 'Queen of the Log' and Keisha and Moonla were the final contestants when Moola won by earning more points by having a dance off and sing off with Keisha. Meanwhile the boys went snorkeling with Mr. Brazeau and probably had an awesome time seeing God's creation. (I'm not really sure how it went-even though I'm pretty sure it went well- because I am not a boy).
Later, Keisha beat all but one of the boys in 'King/Queen of the Log'. Go Keisha! Afterwards we had a Alphabet Scavenger Hunt where we had to find objects on the beach from A-Z.  Moonla paired up with Cassia won! Then we played Monkey Ball (a class-invented game). The objective of the game is to keep the ball away from the other team (girls vs boys) and that's about it. I think the boys won... but I'm not exactly sure. Anyways, we had a great time at the beach whatsoever! :)
